PGA Head Golf Professional
Brad Nelson was named Head Golf Professional at Cedarbrook Country Club in January of 2018. Prior to his tenure at Cedarbrook Country Club Brad was an Assistant Golf Professional at Muirfield Village Golf Club, home of the Memorial. He also spent time at Saucon Valley Country Club, Sawgrass Country Club, and Augusta National Golf Club (2017 Masters Tournament and National Drive Chip and Putt Team Member).
Brad played Division I Golf for the University of North Florida and graduated with a degree in Political Science and Criminal Law. Post-graduation he worked at the Tom Burnett Golf Academy as a Golf Coach and caddied on the PGA Tour for Billy Horschel during the 2011 Tour season.
Brad is a Class A Member of the PGA of America and TPI Certified.
PGA Director of InstructionJohn King joined the Cedarbrook Country Club staff as the First Assistant Golf Professional in February of 2018. John's primary role focused his efforts on Tournament Operations, Junior Golf Programs, Member Services, and Instruction.
Beginning in 2020, John became the Club's first PGA Director of Instruction and is now responsible for implementing all instruction activities and programs at the Club. He is also founder and owner of the Kings Golf Academy at Cedarbrook Country Club.
Prior to accepting the position at Cedarbrook, John spent three years working as an Assistant Golf Professional for Cedarwood Country Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. Before his tenure there, John began his career in golf at Barefoot Resort & Golf in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
John was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri as the youngest of four siblings. He grew up in a very athletic family and was exposed to multiple sports. John developed a love for the game as a junior, playing with his older brother Mike. John attended Coastal Carolina University where he studied Sports Management and Communications. John and his wife Brittany, a Philadelphia native, have been happily married since June of 2015 and have one child, Lily born in May of 2018.
PGA Assistant Golf ProfessionalDave Roberts began his career at Cedarbrook Country Club in 1990. Prior to coming to Cedarbrook Dave was an Assistant Golf Professional at Shaker Heights Country Club in Cleveland, Ohio and Port Judith Country Club in Naragansett, Rhode Island.
During the winter months Dave worked at the St. John’s Island Club in Vero Beach, Florida and the Seminole Golf Club in Seminole Golf Club in North Palm Beach, Florida.
Dave graduated from Davis & Elkins College in West Virginia with a degree in Marketing/Management and lettered in both Golf and Basketball.
Dave is a 25-year member of the PGA of America and enjoys teaching, club-fitting, and club-repair. As an accomplished player he is a former Philadelphia PGA Section Champion, has won multiple times in Philadelphia PGA Section Tournament play, and is the course record holder at the Sunnybrook Golf Club with a 64.
Al DeColli, Caddy MasterAl joined the Cedarbrook Country Club staff in March of 2015 as the Caddy Master. Prior to Cedarbrook, Al worked at Hidden Creek Golf Club in Egg Harbor Twp. New Jersey for three years as Caddy Master and as Sales and Marketing Director for one year. He spent time on the grounds maintenance staff at different clubs in South Jersey most notably Pine Valley Golf Club.
Al was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Washington Township, New Jersey. He attended Catawba College in North Carolina, received a degree in Sport Management and played on the Golf Team.
Currently Al resides in South Philadelphia with his wife Ann, son Dante and their two cats Max and Pebbles. In his free time Al enjoys spending time with his family going to sporting events or local restaurants.
